We stayed in traditional Hunting Lodges like the one above when we rode from one end of Wales to the other on horse-back. Unfortunately it rained for 10 days and most of us suffered from terrible colds.

Training the beautiful Dankeschon in my arena in the Macedon Ranges, Australia
Dankeschon (German for thank-you very much) was the last foal of her sire and her name thanked him for the privilege of being the last of his progeny. She was the most beautiful mare – gentle and easy to train. You could put a one-month old baby on her back and know the baby was safe. I competed in dressage with Dankeschon and we won many prizes. She had 2 or 3 foals before I bought her and when her dressage career was over, she helped a nervous rider continue her riding career.
Welcome to my Neighbourhood!
Thank you to the graffiti artist! This painting of Winx, champion race horse and her jockey just appeared one day in my neighbourhood. And she’s still a winner!
A sunny day in the Macedon Ranges, Australia
On a gorgeous sunny day, looking towards the mountain range past my horse paddocks and garden, you can just pick out the monument on the top of Mt Macedon in the centre of the picture if you look hard.
A day at Flemington race course

Made of honor (US version)
This is a short story which highlights the role horses played in the lives of 10 heroines at a time when women were passengers and men were riders. How things have changed for the better!
This is the first in a series about horses and heroines. My next book is well underway and is a romance set in the high country of Victoria Australia with a very gutsy heroine.
