Training the beautiful Dankeschon in my arena in the Macedon Ranges, Australia

Horse in my arenaDankeschon (German for thank-you very much) was the last foal of her sire and her name thanked him for the privilege of being the last of his progeny. She was the most beautiful mare – gentle and easy to train. You could put a one-month old baby on her back and know the baby was safe.  I competed in dressage with Dankeschon and we won many prizes. She had 2 or 3 foals before I bought her and when her dressage career was over, she helped a nervous rider continue her riding career.
